Project Management

My current role as Digital Campaign Manager at a Fortune 100 tech giant requires a skill set that relies heavily on project management. I incorporate my holistic understanding of integrated marketing to produce niche aspects of a larger campaign and simultaneously coordinate 12+ teams located in offices spanning the globe to deliver go-to-market strategy for CRM projects in support of new product releases.

Communication touchpoints include our website, app, email and social media. We use Jira as a project management tool. To move our desired communication messaging forward in a timely manner I incorporate sprints from Architects, Engineers, Data, Product, Design, Marketing, Developers, QA, Testing, Legal and Privacy. It’s often challenging to coordinate schedules between Brazil, India, Singapore and the Western United States, but it’s also personally fulfilling to connect and work with people around the world.

This work requires a broad expertise - and comfort working through problems with no immediately identifiable solution. I’m involved in troubleshooting technological solutions with the aforementioned teams to ensure the information is accessible and available in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. I coordinate with additional data teams to produce PowerBI reports that offer discernible KPI’s for our internal team to measure the effectiveness of email campaigns and to report relevant metrics to the business teams.

Case Study.
In November 2021 I began working on the go-to-market strategy for a global launch of a new line of hardware; the out-of-box cloud-based onboarding for consumers offered a new cloud experience for SMB’s. My focus was to ensure five emails, produced in partnership with an agency, could be designed, produced, integrated and translated into nearly 30 languages in time for launch - while meeting the core needs of the business.

I collaborated with hardware engineers and developers to create a CRM solution that ensured a robust onboarding experience incorporating relevant data-driven messaging for improved customer experience. I worked across (global) silos to acquire buy-in from relevant component teams and ensure messaging remained applicable as it was developed. I led conversations with data system architects to produce API’s, and data engineers to find, fetch and connect the relevant data sources. I coordinated with QA teams to review the functionality of nearly 100 different email iterations in 26 languages.

The solution was launched in markets in North America, Asia and Europe and our team continues the work to prioritize the next array of solutions and improvements.

Photo taken from my trip to the Bunk’Art2 Museum in Tirana, Albania; the microphone and transmitter were inserted into a broom handle and represent the spyware used during the autocratic regime of Enver Hoxha, beating Facebook by a good 30 years! I also highly recommend the House of Leaves museum.
